Mamas,
The scale kept going up. My clothes weren’t fitting. My mid section was getting puffier and fluffier. I was getting tired so much easier than I used to. I felt like crap.
The maddening part was that I didn’t change a thing in my routine. NOT ONE THING. But the weight kept creeping.
What I had been doing previously as far as exercise and nutrition to keep my body and mind in a place of feeling and looking FIT wasn’t working.
What I discovered in my forties and going through perimenopause and menopause is that hormones are hormones. There are changes going on whether we like it or not. It’s science. …And the changes actually start before our forties. It just gets REALLLLLY noticeable in our forties and fifties.
We lose muscle and bone density as we age?
Our metabolism slows down?
Our fat storage shifts to our mid sections?
It's not that we are letting ourselves go, it's that things are changing!
